All Month: Stop by Montgomery College’s Arts Center to see Meggan Gould’s exhibit Traces of Vision. Not your usual photography exhibit, Gould manipulates pictures to change how we see images.
December 3-21: Cozy up to a big bag of popcorn and watch the finest films to come out across the Atlantic during the AFI’s European Union Film Showcase. Choose from 50 films from 27 countries, including many festival award winners and Oscar foreign film submissions. Or get in the holiday spirit with The Muppet Christmas Carol, playing December 20-24.
Thursday, December 4, 6pm: Fenton Street Market’s pop up shop HOLIDAZE opens on the second level of Pyramid Atlantic! Stop by to get first dibs on handmade gifts and to enjoy live music and adult beverages. Free, but tickets are required. HOLIDAZE will be open Dec. 5-7, 11-14, 17-23 for all of your holiday shopping needs, plus parties and DIY workshops.
Friday, December 5, 8pm: Improv Comedy Night at Highwood Theatre. A $10 ticket will get you a night of spontaneous comedy brought to you by four local improv troupes. Start the night down the street at Pacci’s Pizzeria for dinner and have a nightcap at Sidebar after.
