Saturday, June 6, 9:15am-12:00pm: Ride from Bethesda to Silver Spring for the 2nd Great MoCo Bike Summit. After you get all sweaty, head into the Civic Building for presentations and discussions the present and future of cycling in the County. Stop by the Fenton Street Market after for their annual Craft Party (and usual vendors).

Wednesday, June 17-Sunday, June 21: AFIDOCS. For the second year, this international documentary film festival takes place mostly in DC…regardless, there are still plenty of showings at the AFI Silver and Ride, Rise, Roar screens outside by the fountain for free on Friday night.
Saturday, June 20, 10:00am-9:00pm: The 7th Annual Silver Spring Blues Festival. This summer tradition features dozens of performers on two stages (Fenton Street Market & Ellsworth Drive by the fountain).

Thank you Silver Spring I;m looking forward to the New Library Opening…I”m hope it will be a great event for our community. This community has very little place to go and read and just do learning things…Border Book Store was some of our only outlet for reading enjoyment….Well see you at the opening.
