Saturday, July 4: Fourth of July festivities in Takoma Park. Yes, I know it’s in Takoma Park and not Silver Spring, but there’s no Fenton Street Market this day. And TP does the 4th right with the best parade and fireworks around! Parade begins at 10:00am, so go early and snag a shady spot along the route.
